Woman allegedly assaulted by brother in Bridlington

A WOMAN was allegedly assaulted by her brother following a disagreement in a town centre car park.

The incident happened in the rear car park off High Street in Bridlington between 1.30pm and 2pm on Thursday September 13.

The two people were in the car park together when there was a dispute that led to the man allegedly grabbing the 39-year-old woman round her neck, causing pain but no injury.

The woman then broke free and left the area.

Officers investigating the complaint are seeking independent witnesses to the incident and ask that anyone who saw what happened or has any information about what happened, to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 352 of September 13 2012.
