The RNLI team at Flamborough recently received a funds boost from a 50th birthday bash.

Angela Walshaw celebrated her 50th Birthday at the Friendly Forrester, Bridlington, where donations made by guests raised £138.00 in aid of Flamborough RNLI.

Mrs Walshaw asked that donations be made in memory of her father, Mr R Machen, who tragically passed away 10 years ago.

A spokesman said: “She wanted to thank Flamborough RNLI especially the volunteer crew who responded to an incident involving her father and who acted in a professional and respectful manner.”
