A 69-year-old Bridlington man has been charged with drink driving and driving without a valid licence following an accident at Fortyfoot last night.
A spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8:07pm yesterday evening following a road traffic collision on Fortyfoot in Bridlington involving two vehicles.
“A green Daewoo Lanos and black Mini were in collision.
“One casualty sustained minor injuries and attended hospital but was later discharged.
“A 69 year old Bridlington man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has been charged with driving otherwise that in accordance with a licence and when alcohol level above the limit. He has been bailed to appear at Beverley Magistrates Court next month.”
