Triathlon duo raise £570

A FATHER and son tackled a triatholon and raised £570 for charity.

Robert and Matthew Cawkill of Savage Road both completed the Castle Howard Triathlon to raise money for the charity Kids n Cancer which is supporting Bridlington schoolboy Bradley Marshall who needs proton therapy in America for a spinal tumour.

Matthew’s younger brother James is a friend of Bradley and they both play football for Bridlington Rangers Rhinos which is why the pair decided to raise money for the Kids n Cancer cause.

Robert, 44, finished his race in one hour and 44 minutes whilst Matthew, 11, completed the junior race in 33 minutes.

They were extremely pleased with their achievement and wished to say a big thank you to all their sponsors and send best wishes to Bradley.
