Trains to and from Bridlington are back on track after being delayed after a two-car crash at Carnaby level crossing.

Humberside Police described the inicident as 'a shunt' but added: "This is causing issues for other road users. Please be patient if you are in the area."

However, by 6.15pm, Network Rail confirmed: "All lines have reopened following a road accident at a level crossing at Bridlington. Train services between Hull and Scarborough may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes."
