Train line between Bridlington and Hull reopens

Rail services between Bridlington and Hull are running as normal again, after disruption earlier this afternoon.

Emergency services were dealing with an incident at Cottingham which has closed the line in both directions.

Passengers had been told to expect delays and cancellations until around 4.30pm, but the line opened at around 3.20pm.

National Rail Enquiries said: "Trains between these stations may continue to be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or revised."
