Snow hitting roads on the Yorkshire Coast

Snow and ice is hitting travel across the Yorkshire Coast this morning.

The A169 from Pickering to Whitby is closed to all vehicles.

Police are warning drivers to avoid the area and only travel if absolutely necessary.

And people in Bridlington are being urged to take care travelling across A166 Garrowby Hill as the road is thick with ice covered in snow.
