Bridlington’s park and ride service restarts this weekend.
Buses and the land train will link the car park at South Cliff caravan park to the harbour and the town’s new lesiure centre.
Services will run until 8pm in the peak summer holiday period.
Cllr Stephen Parnaby OBE, leader of the council, said: “Bridlington Park and Ride is a real asset to the resort, keeping nearly 50,000 vehicles off the town centre’s roads.
“It’s particularly pleasing that we will again be able to extend Park and Ride this summer into the early evening and to East Riding Leisure Bridlington, which will boost the town’s economy by encouraging visitors to stay that little bit longer, and maybe enjoy a meal in the town before heading home.
“Here’s to another bumper year in the town.”
