Police are appealing for information following an assault at a property in Wellington Road, Bridlington on Thursday November 28.

Three men, reported to be wearing balaclavas, gained entry to a flat in Wellington Road and assaulted the occupants with a blunt instrument.

The occupants, a man in his 50s and a woman, sustained cuts and bruises in what is believed to be a targeted attack.

The men’s faces were obscured by their balaclavas but one is described as being around 5 feet 3 inches tall, wearing pale blue trainers, a dark jacket and blue jeans.

The report of a second man describes him as being of a fat build, and wearing a blue track suit top with red stripes and blue jeans.

The third has not been described but all are thought to have been wearing black gloves.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information in connection with this offence and, in particular, anyone who may have seen an estate type vehicle leaving a nearby tenfoot at the time of the incident.

Calls should be made to Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting log number 74 of Thursday 28 November 2013 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
