There is plenty of change going on in Bridlington and the town should look very different in the next couple of years.

How the new Gypsey Race park will look

Here, we look at some of the artist's impressions for projects which are underway, or due to start soon, in and around the town centre.

Plans for seating and landscaping on the seafront, in front of East Riding Leisure centre.
The area is likely to be transformed in a 3.8million scheme for the seafront.
Plans for the seafront went on display to the public in April.
Bridlington Town Council wants to move to a former restaurant in Marshall Avenue which will be home to their office and meeting rooms which will be available to the community.
This is how the junction of Springfield Avenue and Hilderthorpe Road could look.
Changes to the front of the Bridlington railway station will see new car parking, a drop off area, a large bus lay-by, a new taxi rank and decorative lighting.
Work has started on a new 19-bedroom hotel at Bridlington Golf Club and it is expected to welcome its first guests next year.
Phase one of the Gypsey Race park is due to be complete in the next month or so.
There will be pleasant walking and cycling routes, play areas, improved habitats for wildlife and new signs that will tell the stories behind the people who have worked and lived along the Gypsey Race.
The park is a new 7.5million green space along the banks of the Gypsey Race, through the centre of Bridlington.
