Temporary parking signs too small to notice

We seem to be the centre for this week’s stupidity prize.

The council are renewing half the road surface in St Anne’s Road but first they are starting to renew the kerb and pavement from the bottom which seems sensible.

They have, however, suspended parking on the whole length of the road which has parking bays on it, by putting small typed notices that you can’t see and now sending parking wardens to put tickets on all the cars should they park there.

At the rate of progress it will be two weeks before they work at the other end of the road, plus if they were so concerned proper signs should be put out.
