Flamborough Village Hall’s latest table top sale was full to the brim of stalls selling a selection of new and used items, providing lots of opportunities for visitors to grab a bargain.
The table top sale, held over Easter, was held to raise much-needed funds for Flamborough Village Hall.
Following the successful sale, the facility’s members are now asking residents to register their vote in the latest round of the Co-op Local Community Fund.
This could bring in more cash to help keep the popular gathering place running smoothly.
Village hall secretary Audrey Heywood said: “Thank you to the stall holders for all their hard work, the selection of stalls was fantastic. And of course, a big thank you to the visitors who braved the wet weather to join us.
“At least once they got here they could warm up with a cuppa or enjoy tucking into a bacon sandwich, hot dog or pie and peas.
“We’re grateful for their support as the hall is a registered charity and relies on funds from events such as this to help with its running costs.
“The hall has been lucky enough to be chosen for the current round of the Co-op Local Community Fund and we’re hoping we will be able to buy an outdoor weatherproof notice board and a water boiler for the kitchen for making hot drinks.
“To help, simply go online at coop.co.uk/membership and select us as your cause.
“All support would be much appreciated.”
The next Table Top Sale will be on August Bank Holiday Saturday 25 August – anyone wishing to book a table should contact Susan Lawson on 01262 850850.
