Still no sign of coaches at Limekiln Lane site

On 20 July I was walking to Sewerby on the cliff top. Passing the Limekiln Lane coach park at 1.45pm on one of the hottest days of the year so far, I saw there were no coaches at all in there.

A fortnight later on August 3 at the same time in the afternoon on another hot summer day there were two mini coaches in there. There must be some logical explanation, I suppose, but it evades me.

Is the Limekiln Lane coach park a white elephant or what? Are the coach drivers dropping their passengers in town or are they going to Scarborough? Have the council some explanation?

Also how do they explain this? I was walking by the old coach park on Hilderthorpe Road a few days ago and there were four coaches in there when there weren’t meant to be any. Strange.
