QUAY Primary School has done it again.
Every term the school raises money for good causes, last year they made a staggering £3,262 for Bridlington lifeboats and this year have already raised £400 for victims of the Japanese Tsunami but have now been able to present a cheque for £1,850 to Andrina Greenlaw of Macmillan nurses for cancer care.
Lindsay Baldock, headteacher, said: “Once again our parents and pupils have shown how generous they can be with their time and money. I am so proud of our school community.”
The donation was raised through a whole range of activities, including the sale of home made buns and cakes, but the biggest amount came from a single sponsored silence of the schools 400 pupils.
