After recent announcements about Bridlington Hospital - we’re asking you for your questions to put to hospital bosses.

The hospital at the kitchen is set to close, the hospital manager has left their post while campaign groups and unions have questioned the strategic vision that the York NHS Foundation Trust has for Bridlington.

And another health trust, the Humber Foundation Trust along with the East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group, have proposed to close twelve beds on the mental health inpatient unit Buckrose Ward.

So we want to put your questions to Patrick Crowley, chief executive of the York Trust, to see what the long term plans for Bridlington’s future are.

The Free Press understands that an accident and emergency department, cardiac and maternity units will not be coming back to Bridlington.

However, we want to know what plans the trust has to bring new services and maintain existing services.

And we want to put forward your questions.

Get in touch by emailing your questions to or sending them to the Bridlington Free Press office at 3 Prospect Street, Bridlington, YO15 2AQ.
