Volunteers at a Bridlington charity shop have presented a Spring surprise to two regional charities.
The South Side Charity Shop, on Horsforth Avenue in Bridlington, has raised £7,200 in the past year and split the money between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Hull and East Yorkshire Hospital.
The two cheques, worth £3,600 each, were presented to consultant James Bailey and Sylvia Clarkson from the Air Ambulance outside Rags Restaurant.
Manager of South Side, Elsie Lawrence, said: “I am very happy and proud of the money we have raised this year. I would like to thank all the volunteers who without them, we would not be able to raise as much money for fantastic causes.”
