Miss Sophie Revell and Lance Corporal Russell Crosby were married at Aldwark Manor near Harrogate, on September 19.
The bride, a retail manager and the eldest daughter of Sue and Ian Revell of Bridlington, was driven to the ceremony in a pink Cadillac and given away by her father.
She wore a pale pink, two-piece gown by Angela Vickers, a diamante headdress with hair by Mel at The Color salon in Bridlington, the bride also carried a bouquet of pink roses.
There were six bridesmaids – Chloe Revell the brides’ sister, Hollie Revell, Abigail Revell and Daisy Clayphan, cousins of the bride, Laura Bonnett a friend of the bride, and Laura Jenkinson a cousin of the groom. They all wore navy tulle ballerina style dresses and carried pink roses.
The groom, serving in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers 33 Engineers Regiment, is the son of Sue and Chris Crosby of Sanquhar, Scotland.
His best man was his brother, Giles Crosby. There were five groomsmen – Oliver and William Smith, cousins of the bride, Alistair and Lawrence Potter, cousins of the groom, and Oliver Seckel, a friend of the couple.
The two page boys were Edward and Oscar Crosby.
The guests were ferried by a London bus to Squadron Bar Aldwark Manor where there was an evening reception and disco.
The couple who met at the Pavilion Bar in Bridlington, will honeymoon in the Maldives and will reside at their home in Long Eaton, Nottingham.
