The Remarkable Rock Choir will be performing at Bridlington Priory on Saturday 7 July.

Bridlington Priory will be transformed into a rock venue when East Yorkshire based Remarkable Arts takes over the ancient church on Saturday 7 July.

Rock the Priory follows on from the success of the group’s sell out night at the venue last Summer – and organisers of the event said this year’s concert will be even more spectacular.

Headlining the event is the Remarkable Rock Choir bolstered by more than 130 members from across East Yorkshire.

They will be performing music by David Bowie, The Beatles, REM, Oasis, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and more.

Support will be provided by the talented Remarkable Voices, as well as exciting female duo Arizona Tides and the incredible Rock Guitarist Miley K.

Choir director Mark Howley said: “From the soaring harmonies of our opening song Proud Mary, through to our finale of the night Somebody To Love, we’ll take you on a fun, passionate and energetic journey through some of the best music ever written.

“For one night only, the rafters will rock and even the angels will sing!”

The concert starts at 7pm.

Tickets are just £5 – under 16s are free and can turn up on the door.

Tickets are available from the Priory church shop, Bridlington Spa Box Office, or at bridspa.com.
