Pulling in the big bucks for the RNLI

A charity football competition and tug of war took place on Bridlington South Beach to raise money for the Bridlington RNLI.

The football competition had eight teams comprising of fishermen, East Riding Foreshores and Lifeboat Crew with the Coastal Shell Fish coming out on top. A team from Bridlington Lifeboat won the fiercely contesting Tug of War.

Jo Ackers from The Independent Shell Fishermen`s Co-op Bridlington Ltd helped to raise £630. She said: “I would like to thank all the teams and everyone who came to support us on a great day of fun and to raise money for a worthy cause.”
