A trip to London has turned into one to remember for youngsters from New Pasture Lane School.

They were at the Houses of Parliament today as part of a school trip to the capital when they met the Prime Minister, Theresa May, who stopped for photographs with the group.

Headteacher Alison Tadman, who is back at school in Bridlington, said: "They had an appointment with Sir Greg Knight so I think it was just a case of being in the right place at the right time.

"I'm so excited for them and I hope they grilled her."

The school are in London for a two-day trip with Hull Children's University.
