Police track escaped prisoner who could be in Bridlington

Suffolk Police are appealing for help in tracing a prisoner who absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk overnight on Sunday July 14 to Monday July 15, who may now be in the Bridlington area.

Mark Donnison, 43, was discovered missing just before 8am yesterday morning, Monday 15 July. He was serving a sentence for robbery and assault occasioning ABH and was last seen at the prison on Sunday evening.

Donnison is described as white, with blue eyes and short blond hair, of medium build, around 5ft 10ins tall, with a tattoo of an eagle on his lower right arm and the name ‘Mark’ on his knuckles.

He has connections to the Bridlington, York, Leeds, Warrington and Hull areas and it is thought he may have returned to friends, family or other contacts living in any of these areas.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen him or anyone with information about where he is now to contact officers. You should not approach him or take any further action.
