Police seek witnesses after 16-year-old hit by car in Bridlington

Police are seeking witnesses to a road traffic collision involving a silver vehicle and a pedestrian on Shaftesbury Road, Bridlington on Wednesday July 17.

The pedestrian, a 16-year-old boy, was crossing Shaftesbury Road when a silver Ford, possibly with a ‘Y’ in its registration number, was reported to have collided with him.

The vehicle did not stop following the collision which was said to have occurred at 5.15pm on Wednesday July 17.

If anyone is able to provide information in relation to this incident, in which the 16-year-old sustained minor injuries, they are asked to call Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting log number 585 of 17 July 2013.
