A 34-year-old Bridlington man was arrested yesterday after police received calls from the public alleging a man was exposing himself in a park.

It is said the man had been walking around on the playing fields at Sewerby Heads and Sewerby Road with his trousers around his ankles on Monday 7 July.

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them with any information about the incident.

It is believed that a dog walker was in the park at the time and officers are specifically appealing to them to get in touch.

Contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log number 522 07/07/2014.
