North Wolds Lions Santa’s sleigh set to visit villages

The North Wolds Lions Club members have dusted down Santa’s sleigh ready for its annual run around the villages.

The North Wolds Lions Club members have dusted down Santa’s sleigh ready for its annual run around the villages.

Santa will not be handing out sweets to children and his elves will not be knocking on residents’ doors.

The sleigh will have a couple of buckets on board should anyone wish to donate to the Lions Charity Fund.

People can listen for the music and come to their door or gate to wave and cheer Santa on his way.

The timetable for this year’s Santa run through will be as follows:

Monday, December 14: Barmston and Skipsea between 5.30pm-6.15pm

Tuesday, December 15: Wold Newton, Burton Fleming, Rudston and Boynton between 5.30pm-6.30pm

Wednesday, December 16: Flamborough, Buckton and Bempton between 5.30pm-6.15pm.

In addition, the Santa sleigh will be visiting four of the primary schools in the North Wolds area during the day, parking on the playgrounds and keeping socially distanced. The dates are:

Thursday, December 17: Flamborough School and Bempton School

Friday, December 18: Burton Agnes School and Boynton School.
