The world premiere of Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain – Part Five – is heading to Bridlington Spa next month.

Barmy Britain is back with a brand new show full of crazy characters and rude rulers that will visit Bridlington Spa ahead of a run in London’s West End.

The premiere, recommended for ages 5 to 105, will be showcased at the venue from Thursday, July 22 to Sunday, July 25.

The new show is written and directed by Neal Foster, designed by Jackie Trousdale, lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Nick Sagar, music by Matthew Scott and choreography by Ken Oldfield.

A spokesman said: “Will you be conquered by King William? Will you sink or swim with King Henry I? Will Thomas Becket get the chop? Go house hunting with King Henry VIII! Are you scared to scale the Tudor scaffold? Join the gorgeous Georgians as they take over England!”
