Guide Dogs for the Blind cause appealing for volunteers in Bridlington
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Hull and East Riding team is appealing for more volunteers in the Bridlington area.
Volunteer fundraisers have the chance to run or attend fun events, collections, coffee mornings, quizzes, running merchandise stalls, and much more.
People are needed to help with a variety of roles at the charity, and working as a volunteer can also help boost the chances of getting a better job by adding details of charity work to a CV.
Volunteer co-ordinator Linda Conway said: “At Guide Dogs we put the ‘fun’ into Fundraising.
“We rely on our brilliant volunteers who give their time to help our charity in so many ways.
“There are many great fundraising volunteering opportunities to get involved with in Bridlington even an hour makes a big difference.
“Our volunteers transform the lives of people living with sight loss, whether it is fundraising at fetes and fairs, holding quizzes, having coffee mornings, cheering on at a marshal point, sell some goodies on our merchandise stalls and much, much, More! There really is something for everyone.
“We know that without our volunteers, our charity could not continue its life changing work.
“Give a little time to Guide Dogs and make a big difference to someone’s life.”
