Flamborough Lifeboat's crew was called at lunchtime after a fishing boat encountered engine trouble off Braille Newk.

The lifeboat headed out just after midday and found the vessel at anchor in Selwick's Bay.

It was towed to Bridlington harbour, where it was taken to its mooring, and the lifeboat crew were back at the station at South Landing at 2pm.
