A 70-year-old man has died after being pulled from Bridlington's North Beach.
Humberside Police were called to the beach, near Alexander Road at around 2.11pm on Wednesday July 20 and were joined by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Coastguard and lifeguards.
It is said the swimmer was pulled out of the sea before CPR was performed on him. Despite medical attention, the pensioner died.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
