The Albert in Scarborough has featured on Channel 4's Four in a Bed previously.

Studio Lambert, which produces the show, is looking for enthusiastic owners/managers of properties with a minimum of three guest bedrooms, who are willing to share what makes their accommodation special.

Every week B&B/hotel owners or managers stay overnight at each other’s places and rate their experience. At the end of the week, one is crowned best value for money.

The show, said the producers, is as an opportunity for owners to showcase their property and locality, with former participants reporting a dramatic increase in website hits and enquiries as a result of appearing on the programme.

New participants will follow in the footsteps of a number of guest houses in the area including The Albert and Fountain's Court Holistic Health Hotel in Scarborough, The Swallow in Bridlington and Lansbury Guest House in Whitby.
