Motorcyclist injured in collision in Bridlington

A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after falling off his motorcycle in Bridlington.

The man in his 20s was riding away from the town centre along Flamborough Road at about 9.40pm on Wednesday 8 June.

A green two seater car was driving towards the town centre, in the opposite direction, and started to turn into Trinity Road, allegedly crossing in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist sounded his horn and then lost control of his motorcycle causing him to collide with the central reservation kerb and fall onto the ground sustaining cuts to the hand, knee and ankle.

The car drove off down Trinity Road without stopping at the scene.
