A Bridlington woman has enjoyed double celebrations for a milestone birthday.
Frances Day, better known as Olive, was 102-years-old on Tuesday 6 August, and marked the occasion with a birthday party on Wednesday 7 August as well as a party on the day.
Mrs Day lives at Red House Residential Home, St Anne’s Road, Bridlington, and has been a resident there since March last year.
She celebrated her centenary in 2011 with a party at the Orangery in Sewerby Hall accompanied by friends and family.
Mrs Day was born in Nafferton and moved to Leeds, before coming to stay in Bridlington where she has lived for more than thirty years.
