Police are appealing for information after a man was left with a concussion when he was set upon by two thugs.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may be able to assist with their enquiries into the assault, which took place in the early hours of Saturday July 24.
A police spokesman said: “A man and woman were walking home along High Street in Bridlington when the man was victim to an assault by two men, not known to the victim.”
The attack, which happened at around 4am, left the victim with injuries to his face and also a concussion.
The spokesman continued: “An ambulance attended and the man was taken to Scarborough Hospital for treatment to facial injuries and concussion.”
Officers are keen to track down those responsible, and are appealing to members of the public to get in touch with any information they may have.
