HEAD along to the Limekiln Lane cliff top this Sunday for the biggest free summer event in Bridlington.
The cliff top will be transformed for the annual Bridlington Lions Carnival Fun Day – which will see a huge host of stalls and children’s rides, and as usual, first class entertainment in the arena.
This year, the entertainment on offer will include performances by the Dingle Fingles Clowns, and Elaine Hill’s hilarious sheepdog display, where Elaine’s talented dogs use their skills to herd ducks.
A Punch and Judy show will perform three times during the day, and to get feet tapping there will be a jazz band performing at regular intervals.
The popular Harley Davidson Motorcycle club will also be on hand to display their superb machines.
Refreshments, ice creams and bar facilities will be on site, and in addition the ever popular Giant Car Boot Sale, which will be held all day next to the carnival field. Car booters can arrive from 7am. Car parking will be available from the Sewerby Road entrance, and will cost just £2.50 to park all day.
Entrance to the carnival is free, and any proceeds collected by Bridlington Lions Club will go to charitable causes.
The fun kicks off at 10.30am, until 4.30pm, so don’t miss a great day out.
