Lifestyle girl’s event at Sewerby Headlands

A group of youngsters are well on their way to raising a significant amount of money for charity through their own ideas for this year’s Humberside Police event.

Lifestyle team Ellie Rhodes, Lauren Seed, Leah Rollings, and Carmen Tindall, will put on a fun dog show, with lots of attractions and activities at Sewerby Headlands playing fields on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 24.

The girls, who call themselves the Doggy Dazzlers, have already raised £52 from car boot sales for children’s charity, When You Wish Upon a Star.

Leah’s mother, Dianne Rollings, said: “We feel so lucky to have had so much support, the day should be a great success and the girls have really worked hard for this day.”

The Doggy Dazzlers have sought help from local businesses who have put up posters around Bridlington and made donations, including a bouncy castle and an ice cream van which will be present on the day.

There will also be a table top sale available for people to take part in, which costs £4 per table with all the proceeds going to charity.
