Attention all Sewerby Hall visitors – you may have to pay for the privilege of parking at the site in the future.
Anyone who has filled out the new survey form will notice the council is considering developing the car park. Within the parking section there are various options including pay and display charges. This looks like the council is testing the water before placing pay and display stations at the venue.
Usually, when these type of questionnaires are sent out there’s an ulterior motive behind the move.
Sewerby Hall is already charging for some activities that used to be free. Perhaps they are trying to recoup the £2.3million spent on the hall over the past few years? Whatever the reason, visitors perhaps should get ready to pay extra for their Sewerby treat.
