Leisure centre price hike for summer swimming sessions

I would like to know why East Riding of Yorkshire Council are allowed to put up the price of swimming for the school summer holidays. It has increased from £4.20 to £4.80 and £3.40 for children until the end of August.
Bridlington's Leisure Centre has increased its swimming session prices just for the summer season.Bridlington's Leisure Centre has increased its swimming session prices just for the summer season.

This is only at East Riding Leisure Bridlington. East Riding Leisure at Driffield, Hornsea and Beverley stay the same at £4.20 and £2.80 for children. This is just ripping off the visitors and residents alike.

After speaking to the management they do not agree with this increase and it can only do Bridlington Leisure harm, we should be welcoming visitors to our town and encouraging them to use our facilities and also the children and adults who live here, not treating us all like this. It’s scandalous.
