STUDENTS at Bridlington’s East Riding College campus have organised a Children In Need event with a difference.
Today between 10am and 2pm the college, in St Mary’s Walk, travel and tourism students are inviting the public to a Christmas themed event where they can also get 15% off any National Holidays break during 2011.
They can also try their luck on a raffle and indulge in tasty Christmas treats from a festive mini-market.
The college’s Archers Restaurant is running a “all you can eat” pizza, pasta and salad bar in for £3.50 per person (Pre-booking required at Archers on 01262 455063). All money raised on the day will be going to Children In Need. Organisers Bekki Booth, 17, and Sophie Saunders, 21, are both studying towards the Level Three Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
Sophie said: “We hope members of the public will come and join us on November 17 because it’s all for a good cause.
“It’s a great opportunity to get money off a festive break with National Holidays and also to treat yourself to lunch in the restaurant.”
