The high winds before the bank holiday weekend caused damage to property around Bridlington.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service was called to a dangerous structure incident at Elma Villas, Midway Avenue on Saturday evening.
It is thought that the high winds over previous days had loosened a large peice of lead from a dormer window, creating a potential hazard.
A hydraulic platform was used to remove the lead and some loose slates from the roof in order to make the building safe.
Strong winds on Southside, meanwhile, caused damage to a property on Belvedere Parade. Walls were blown down, bringing fences with them.
