A MAN needed hospital treatment after being head butted on the dance floor night spot.
The 32-year-old had been dancing with a woman in the Casino Bar on Esplanade, Bridlington around 3.20am on Sunday when he was approached by a man who is alleged to have head butted him.
Door staff took the victim out of the bar and he went to get a taxi home.
As he was on his way to the taxi rank his attacker followed and tried to pull him from inside a taxi, but the man managed to get away.
Police say as a result of the assault the man needed stitches at Scarborough hospital for a cut and had a black eye.
The suspect is described as a white, 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build with a shaved bald head. He was wearing a light coloured shirt and blue jeans.
