A Bridlington woman who has been accused of fraud has made her first appearance before court.
Gemma Atkin, 25, of Gypsey Road, is accused of pretending to be a bank account holder to a bank teller and requesting to withdraw £200.
She appeared before Judge Jeremy Richardson, QC, at Hull Crown Court on Monday April 20. She did not enter a plea.
The charge was not put to her at this stage, which is normal
Defence barrister John Thackray said the case was a definite trial.
Judge Richardson, QC, adjourned for a plea and case management hearing at Hull Crown Court on June 29.
She was granted bail.
A co-accused Kyle Andrew, 23, of Rockets Terrace, Whitby, is charged with the same offence of fraud.
Gemma Atkin was unable to appear in court as summoned, because she was not well enough.
Judge Richardson then ordered both Atkin and Andrew should reappear at court on June 29.
