A charity based on South Marine Drive raised a massive £2,632 while holding its Christmas Fayre. Alderson House held its annual fayre on Saturday 28 November and a number of attractions featured during the event.
Singers Diamond Darlings entertained people at the fayre and even held an impromptu performance with Santa himself!
Artist Leanne, from Lippyart, donated a beautiful picture she had painted by mouth.
The money raised will help serving and ex-service personnel have a much needed break at Alderson House. On Tuesdays, between 2pm and 4pm, Alderson House is open to any serving or ex-service personnel and their spouses. The group meets for coffee and a chat, play cards, bingo, hold a quiz or listen to a speaker.
