EXTRA prizes will now be up for grabs to all those taking part in this year’s competition to design the mayor’s Christmas card.
The competition has grown in popularity so much over the years that the mayor Councillor Michael Charlesworth has decided that this year he will offer up a second and third place prize too.
The competition, which is open to anyone aged between five and 16, was officially launched back in October with the deadline for entries to be submitted to the Bridlington Town Council being Friday November 23.
A top prize of £50 of Argos vouchers and a family ticket to the pantomime Beauty and the Beast at the Spa Bridlington will be awarded to the winner, whose design will feature on cards sent out by the mayor.
A second place prize of £30 of Argos vouchers and a third place prize of £20 of Argos vouchers are now also available.
Entries must include the child’s name, age, school and should be delivered to Bridlington Town Council, 62 Quay Road, Bridlington, YO16 4HX.
