Election voters go to polls

SEVEN candidates are standing today to be elected to Bridlington Town Council.

One seat in Bridlington’s North Ward is vacant, following the resignation of former councillor and mayor Shaun Marsburg.

The polls will be open today between 7am and 10pm.

To save tax-payers’ money, Bridlington Town Council has not sent out polling cards to voters in the North Ward.

Polling stations are at Bridlington North Library on Martongate, Burlington Infants School in Marton Road and Bridlington Resource and Community Centre in Victoria Road.

Voters should go to whichever polling station they usually vote at.
