A Bridlington woman has been warned she could face prison after she pleaded guilty to driving a car while almost four times the legal drink-drive limit.
Sarah Quinn, 43, of Field Road, is seeking help for her alcohol problem, East Riding Magistrates’ Court heard.
The offence happened on Gypsey Road on Bonfire Night last year when Quinn was found to have 400 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of urine, the legal limit being 107 mg.
District Judge Frederick Rutherford noted the high reading, and adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report. He said: “I have to say that all the sentencing options are open. Albeit the full report will tell me the problems that you have.”
Quinn will be sentenced on February 4.
