A rock and roll extravaganza organised by a free young person’s theatre company is set to blow away the audience tomorrow night at St. John’s Burlington Methodist Church.

Talented young members from the ReMarkable Rock choir will take to the stage Friday evening, as they perform a range of their original songs and some well-known classics such as ‘Living on a Prayer’ and ‘Don’t stop Believing’.

Rebecca Howley, co-organiser of the ReMarkable Theatre Company, said: “This will be the culmination of the ReMarkable Theatre Company’s latest music project, which began in January.

“The group features 35 young people, aged 9-19, who all share a love of music and singing. They have worked very hard in such a short space of time, with just nine sessions to learn all the complex arrangements and parts.

“The concert features original settings of well known rock songs such as ‘Living On A Prayer’, ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, ‘We Will Rock You’ & ‘Somebody To Love’, with beautiful harmonies and some fab soloists.”

The event is open to the public, and will run from 4:45 to 5:30. Entrance is £1.50/person. Participation in this project was completely free and this was made possible by funding from Music 4 U. For more details about the concert please call 07943276496 or email
