Residents are invited to attend a special preview of Bridlington’s new Leisure Centre for a sneak-peak of how work at the facility is coming along.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council and contractors BAM Construction Ltd are reminding people in the Bridlington area that they will be offering a chance for residents and visitors to see at close quarters the latest stages of work on the new £25 million East Riding Leisure Bridlington.
There will be a free Open Day on the site on Saturday October 3 from 9am to 1pm, which will include tours of the facility (last tour starting at 1pm).
The tours will include trips up to the first floor and a chance to see how the new hall housing the swimming pools is taking shape.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s principal project manager Adam Holmes, said: “After the success of the Open Day we held in April, we are keen for the public to again see close at hand the excellent progress that has been made on the exciting East Riding Leisure Bridlington development.
“There’s no need to book in advance – just come along on the day.”
For anybody unable to attend on the day but who would like to see the latest progress on the site, a new video is available on the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s You Tube channel.
