An investigation has been launched into the cause of a caravan blaze in Doncaster in which a dog died.

Firefighters were alerted to the blaze in a caravan on land off Fenwick Grange, near Flashley Carr Lane, Moss, at 9.55pm last night.

The caravan was empty but firefighters found a dog, which had perished inside.

They had to cool down two gas cylinders because of fears they could have exploded in the heat.
