Diesel stolen

COMMERCIAL vehicle owners are being warned to be on their guard after 100 litres of diesel fuel was stolen from a tipper parked in Pinfold Lane, Bridlington .

The fuel was siphoned from the eight wheeled tipper after someone climbed over a wooden fence to get into a commercial yard sometime between 4.30pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone with any information about the theft to come forward to assist with inquiries and are asking commercial vehicle owners to use lockable fuel caps to prevent and deter thieves.
