Witness appeal after Bridlington robbery

Humberside Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman was robbed as she walked along the Promenade.

A 48 year-old woman and her partner in a wheelchair, who recently moved to Bridlington was walking along the Promenade on Monday 20 April at around 9pm.

A man on a pedal bike then grabbed her bag from her shoulder, which contained a purse, cash and a bunch of keys with a distinctive fob showing an angel and wolf.

The woman, although upset by the incident was unharmed.

A spokesperson for the Force said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the incident and for help in identifying two men who were riding pedal bikes in the direction of the town centre at the time of the incident.

“Anyone with any information should contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 2109203.

“Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
