Update: Two more arrests in Bridlington bank robbery investigation

Humberside Police have arrested two more people in connection with an armed robbery at a Bridlington bank on 20 Septmber.

It brings the total number of arrests to five after three men aged 50, 27 and 23, were arrested earlier in the investigation and also released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers were called to the TSB bank on Manor Street in Bridlington on 20 September at 9.10 am, where two men wearing masks had threatened four staff members before tying them up and demanding cash as staff prepared to open.

The men then made off in a white Volkswagen Golf, leaving the staff shaken but otherwise unhurt.

Humberside Police are still keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, and anyone with information should contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting 206 of 20/09/14 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
